the leaf bag

no more excuses
luxury can be sustainable

crosa is a single product project with an ongoing research and development program that enables to preserve nature and to work on her side.

One design, developed in three sizes and in a range of colours. Made in organic and recycled materials such as pineapple leaves, which are leftovers from the food industry and are usually abandoned on the ground or burnt (creating CO2). Handles and external components in certified wood.

The hidden structural parts are in cork, recycled carton, natural glue and natural waxes. No plastic (recycled or not), no leather, no metals. Packaging in recycled and certified fabrics and paper.

Made in Italy, manufactured by a company specializing in luxury products with full respect of workers’ rights.

natural materials

A patented mechanical method to transform pineapple leaves (leftovers from food production) into a special resistant material that can be used for handbags and shoes.

Accessories are made of certified wood, using mainly faggio/beech which is not an endangered tree. See IUCN (world union for conservation of nature).

Every process and detail in the construction of crosa handbags is made with natural materials: glues, waxing, reinforcements and padding.

Commitment: we strive to make the most ethical and respectful choices with regards to our planet, even when they are the most challenging to implement.

nature is on our side and we are on hers

trying to reach a zero impact on nature, all materials used for crosa handbags are 90% sustainable,
thanks to a circular system, recycled organic materials and natural materials that are largely available.
